An Observation
Why is it that the same people who spend something like 5K/10K at shops like Lifestyle, Pantaloons, Westside, etc., without complaining, start bargaining the moment they start shopping in shops on the platform?

Hey aparna,
I too agree with you. Really i should not do this from next time.

If someone tries to bargain at Shoppers Stop or other high end malls, they will be kicked out. Since we Indians are more curious on what others say or think about us, they keep quiet. Whereas when it comes to roadside shops, if you without bargaining you are looked like a loser. So there, to showoff again, people bargain to act smart

Hello,
Precisely!Show-off is the reason in both the cases. We think it is okay to spend any money in huge shops just beacuse everyone else does. And we bargain at roadside shops again because everybody does. Most of us Indians have the well known ‘follow the crowd’ mentality.

imm becoz the maals spend so much on the interiors and floor space…very cosy and comfortable shopping..top of it i think the garments sold in the shop is branded and a tag attached to it..all put to gether inflates the price of the clothes…i will tell you from my own experience it is not that brand that gives you image but what makes you look good irrespective of the brand..

Rukesh,
You think it will be easy to stop doing it from the next time?
Prabhu,
Thanks for the explanation!
Sathej,
yup
Ranjhith,

So, which one do you trust?
Hell’s Angel,
Don’t I know about you!
Bharath,
I too agree that it is not the brand that makes you look good….
