The street name is Sannathi street and it is perpendicular to Pillayar Koil street. You can ask for Mayor Chittibabu street and you'll be able to find it. The shivalingam in this temple has a cut in the forehead, hence the name Vetteeswarar. You are correct. This god is very powerful and it is very peaceful when you visit this temple. God bless.
