In Wordpress, :-x/:x represent angry smiley -> 
In Yahoo, X-(/X( represent angry smiley -> 
In Yahoo, :x/:-x represent love-struck smiley -> 
Imagine typing [:-x] in Yahoo instead of X( for an angry smiley! 
Why isn’t a standard symbol being used everywhere? It’s so confusing

wordpress is easy… so its good that they have diffrent ways in different platforms

Yieks!! Is it that difficult. Yahoo provides a tray from where you can take the smilies. I guess its more tough in wordpress, where you have to remember the keys.

I have done this same mistake in Yahoo, whn chatting with a gal, with whom i was not in good terms with…. was in bit of embarrassment after that!!
