and I am watching at least one movie on TV.

Right after I wrote about the song, kadavuL uLLamE, the movie, anbuLLa Rajnikanth was telecast on Kalaignar TV that weekend. Though I wanted to watch that song alone first, I ended up watching the whole movie. I anyway, didn’t remember anything about the movie since it had been more than a decade since I watched it. This is one movie that has so many moments that are sure to bring tears to your eyes. But thank God, I didn’t cry at all. Still that movie did leave me feeling sad. :(
Note to self: Don’t watch sad, serious movies.

Last Saturday, mouna raagam was shown on Raj TV. Irrespective of the number of times that I watch it, the movie never makes me lose interest in it even for a moment. Mani Ratnam at his best! :) I can rave about this movie for pages, but I won’t do so now. ;) Talking about mouna raagam, I wonder why none of the channels except Podhigai (not sure if those scenes are shown in Podhigai too nowadays) show two scenes that come before the climax. It has been a very long time since I last saw it. :( So am refreshing my memory here now :D Scene no. 1 - Revathy walks out of the house angrily after Mohan books her return ticket to Chennai and finds herself amidst a group of rowdies. Even as she starts running away from them hurting her finger in the process, Mohan comes to her rescue and brings her back home. When he tucks in her cover while she sleeps, that’s when he sees that she is wearing the golusu that he gave her. Isn’t this supposed to be an important scene? Why don’t any of the channels show it? The other scene is what happens the next morning. Revathy while trying to apply kumkum on her forehead finds her fingers bandaged because of the previous day’s wound and Mohan comes and applies kumkum on her forehead. Just when they are about to get separated, this happens. Another important scene, isn’t it?

Coming to the next movie that I watched, kanDa naaL mudhal on Jaya TV last Sunday. I just love this movie! :) That was why I found the patience to sit through the frequent loooong breaks in between. More on this movie in another post tomorrow. Am feeling sleepy now. Good Night!
