Think of this way.. though the festival dates are having its scientific significance , If we have our festivals falling not on any particular date and we have it on like … Pongal - friday 2nd week of january, tamil new year - friday 3rd week of april, diwali - friday 2nd week of november - We wont be having any difficulty in fixing the dates.
