That both of you are "novices as far as cooking is concerned" could only be a plus! We have some good Indian cooking blogs in America, but as far as I know, there's nothing like this on th' teevee... (P.S. When you do, be sure to solicit remuneration for product placement of the brands you may use as shortcuts. Seriously -- shortcuts are not bad things!)
