Here’s a post that had been lying half-written in the drafts for more than a week now. I thought I would post it anyway now. I am really becoming lazier by the day!

Every time I am stuck in a traffic jam and see an ambulance stuck in the traffic, it really pains my heart. I know I have written about this earlier but I couldn’t help writing it again when my Mom told me that somebody’s relative who had suffered a heart attack, passed away on the way to the hospital since the ambulance could not reach the hospital on time, thanks to the traffic jam and diversions! How sad! This happened on the day when there was a heavy traffic in many places because of Vijayakanth addressing his party workers or whatever.

It was great listening to TMK’s O Rangasayee after a really long time. Loved the Kambhoji alapana!

Just that morning, I was telling a friend that I wished Sanjay sings chittham irangaadha since it had been a really long time since I last heard him sing it in a concert and guess what? Sanjay did sing it! Wouldn’t you feel so happy and elated if the singer sings the song that you wished he would sing in that day’s concert? 🙂

To me, the best part of the concert was the swarams in Kanada. 3 minutes of pure bliss it was!! Alapanas are what I look forward to in Sanjay’s concerts these days and needless to say, Kanada, Natabhairavi & Behag alapanas in this concert were absolutely brilliant.

Can’t wait to hear Sanjay sing today! 🙂

More than 3 months it has been since I first listened to this song and liked it instantly and still my liking for this song has not reduced even a bit. If anything, my liking for it has only grown more. 🙂 It’s not often that non-ARR songs continue to enthuse and excite me even after listening to it umpteen number of times over a long period of time.

Till a couple of days back, it was said in the trailer & ads that there was going to be an interview with Madhavan on Kalaignar TV at 8 am today. With Sanjay’s concert on radio at 8:30 am, I was glad that I would be able to catch up with both the programmes. But when I was channel-surfing during the break in Jab We Met, which by the way, was telecast on Zee yesterday evening, I was surprised to see an interview with Madhavan on Kalaignar TV! I had no idea at all that they had changed the time. I watched only the last 10 minutes of the interview. 🙁 Seeing an interview with Madhavan at 8:15 am on Jaya TV today, I guess that must have been the reason why the time of the interview on Kalaignar TV must have been changed. God knows which channel first decided to air Madhavan’s interview at 8 am today!

Coming to today’s interview, I must tell you that it was a big bore. How many times will the ask him the same old questions like the difference between working in TV programmes & movies, how did the experience of working on TV programmes help him when he started working in films, how does his wife react to him having a huge female fan following, what kind of a student was he during college, etc.! One might as well and go & read/watch some old interview of his to know the answers to all these questions. 😐 The only new info that I came to know from today’s interview is his first day shooting experience of Snehidhane song.

Even the last few minutes of yesterday’s interview had nothing new. He was asked to share his experience of working with Kamal. Madhavan himself said that he is being asked this question in all the interviews during the last few years and went on talk about Kamal & the movie.

It’s high time the channels come up with new questions when interviewing someone!

I listened to all the songs of Yuvvraaj once on Saturday and liked all the songs on the first listening itself. 🙂 I again listened to the first 4 songs alone on Sunday. After that, I got the time to listen to the songs again only yesterday. Tu Meri Dost Hain was the song that I listened to first and got hooked to instantly. I have been listening to it on repeat mode for more than 2 hours now! What a beautiful song! Captures your heart right away!

The initial humming, the interlude between the humming and the opening lines aaja main hawaon mein, Awaaz hoon main in varied tunes, the entry of Shreya’s beautiful awaaz singing raat mein chandni, the line main khayalon ki mehek hoon, the lovely interlude at 4:14, Rahman’s amazing singing, the swaras RSRSSRSR right after sargam par chalti hain, ….the list is endless! Love every moment of this song sung so amazingly by all the singers!

I am in no hurry at all to listen to the remaining songs. I am going to take my time and get immersed in the beauty of the songs one by one. 😉

I have made you all wait for really long time to know where I finally shopped after that forgettable experience at Naidu Hall. I guess some of you would have wondered if I even did any shopping or not. 😉 Time has now come to finally end the suspense. 😛

• Watched Vellithirai and Jilla (I still cannot believe that I watched this Telugu movie dubbed into Tamil fully!) back to back on Kalaignar TV last week and liked both the movies. Both made a good time pass. What a versatile actor Prakash Raj is!

• I hate this crazy weather. One moment the sun is shining brightly and the very next moment the weather becomes so dull and gloomy.
