Yes! I had been to Trichy last weekend for attending TMK’s concerts! 😀 A leisurely visit to Srirangam temple that was pending for a long time now and the two concerts of TMK made the weekend an unforgettable one! 🙂

Guruvayur
I had been to Guruvayur on 31st Jan, a Sunday. Guruvayur is about 28km from Thrissur. We reached the Guruvayur Shri Krishna (Guruvayurappan) temple at around 4:25 pm. The temple is usually closed from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. So, almost half the queue complex outside the temple was already full by the time we reached. There is no concept of buying tickets and getting a special darshan here either. If one doesn’t want to go to the inner sanctum of Guruvayurappan, then there is another entrance through which one can go near the dhwajastambham of the temple alone. The temple has a tank called rudra tIrtam, which is next to this entrance.

‘Bulbs’ galore!
Imagine making a whole lot of silly mistakes all through the day in every single thing you do! While it’s easy to try to take it lightly and laugh and forget it all, when the same thing happens the next day too, you end up feeling as though you’re the stupidest person you know! Two days in a row is too much to take. Hope this doesn’t continue tomorrow as well! I have had enough bulbing moments!
sudu thaNNi suDu thaNNi aahaa!
This line in the very-frequently-aired advertisement of ‘Alive’ coffee seems to be the most-heard line on every other channel! Couldn’t help remembering it as I drank a cup of piping-hot water which felt heavenly for my throat, which is on the verge of being struck by cold. Inhaling the steam and later drinking the hot water is one of those unsuccessful attempts at trying to ward-off the cold & fever. But nothing works like Vicks and a good night’s sleep. Falling asleep with the aroma of Vicks engulfing you is pure bliss! Good Night, folks!
P.S.: The last few weeks have been a mix of hectic, fun-filled, memorable & great days. I am really trying hard to get back to regular blogging. Let’s see if it happens at least this month.
Two Grammy Awards!
Wow! Congrats, Rahman!

What are you listening to?
VTV Unplugged
Did you watch the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa audio launch that was telecast on TV yesterday? Weren’t the unplugged version of all the songs as awesome (at times even more?) as the original songs? 🙂 It was a pleasure seeing everyone on stage performing with so much passion. How I wish the unplugged versions too get released! Talking about VTV songs, I am hooked big-time to Hosanna, Omana Penne & Aaoromale. I have listened to other songs only a few times since I don’t seem to have enough time for these 3 songs itself! Rahman is amazing as always!
Happy Birthday, Rahman!
- The surprise continuum ending of Rehna Tu

Happy New Year!
Wishing you all a very happy new year!
It can’t get better than this!
10 whole days of doing nothing other than attending concerts and lec-dems has come to an end! And there couldn’t have been a better ending to it than a T.M.Krishna’s concert and a Sanjay’s concert back to back! All the 15 concerts of Sanjay this December Season, 6 full concerts and an hour and a half of 2 concerts of T.M.Krishna – what a month this has been!
