   listened to it - I didnt quite get what is special … nyana soonyam me !! … still it was energetic tune .. Just started learning about Ragas and Wikipedia isnt offering much … guess after some yrs ll pick up !! …

   but i am listening to Antonio Vivaldi’s ‘The four seasons’. Check out all the Allegro parts of different season - my fav. is Spring. Such an experience … enjoyable…

   Sreekrishnan,
   Carnatica.com might be more helpful than Wikipedia. But, film songs might also help you in identifying raagas.
   I will check out Antonio Vivaldi’s ‘The four seasons’ soon.

   found this pretty useful - surprised to know Singara vaelaney theva and kannodu kanbathellam are of the same raaga !!

   Yeah I too came across that page recently and found it to be quite a good one.
   Btw, even Muppadhu Nimidam is of the same raaga, Abheri And, parts of Shabba Shabba too!

   Purnashadjam, yes, I immediately connect only with Lavanya Rama. I have heard Shri Nedunuri Krishnamurthy render it, I can’t recollect where.
