What’s your name?
Well that is supposed to be the question that all of us ask when we meet someone for the first time. But imagine knowing a person for more than a year and talking with her regularly and still not knowing her name at all! She comes in my bus and her stop is same as mine. I had been chatting with her while waiting for the bus all these days, till it recently struck me one day that I didn’t know her name at all! When I asked the others in the stop, they too didn’t know! They forgot it seems. After knowing a person for such a long time, the very thought of asking what her name is, was too embarrassing. I finally managed to see her ID card today and got to know her name!

Sneaky Aparna!
Of course, the obvious question arises, does she know your name?
I had written a paragraph extolling the virtues of having a short (and sweet) name like yours as opposed to a mouthful one like mine, but thought the better of it. Of course, the obvious question arises, why did I write this info then?

Ha ha ha …
I forgot my friend’s b’day date and there was absolutely no way i could find that becasue there was no orkut or anything. I finally managed to find it in the pretext of looking at his driving licence … It was a very embarassing …

You should only answer that
Aparna,
Yes
Aparna on 03 Jul 2008 at 10:10 am #
Harii,
Am not answering that. What if by any chance, she sees this page sometime?
Dinesh,
That was one clever way of finding it out
Charan,
Welcome to my blog!
Vishnu,
Oh. But I won’t make the mistake of not asking a person’s name first from now on.

@aparna,
know the term “rhetorical question”
and before you ask, yes that was also one of those.
