The violinist I am sure is 100 times better than the singers she is one of my favourite after Gayatri (when she used to play).Hemlatha is truly a great artist to listen to.

Yes Hemalatha is the best among the sisters. Gayatri? I don’t remember any violinist by that name

I think the reference here is to Gayatri of Ranjani-Gayatri. Both used to play the violin earlier.

Gayatri is no one else but one among the sister duo of Ranjani gayatri she is one of the best violinist that I have heared for sure.Now she sings equally well.

They gave a violin concert last year at Parthasarathy Swamy Sabha (or was it somewhere else), I guess, instead of the planned vocal concert. Reason was they had a bad throat supposedly.

You would be surprised to know that Gayatri was almost a fixture for Sanjay Sir and TMK once upon a time.She was a great accompanist infact one can say that she was as good as Vardu sir today Viz Sanjay sir’s accompanist.

Yes apparently people close to the sisters are trying to convince them to atleast give Violin duet concerts regurarly.This is from very reliable source…
